Hey guys!
Tough game that was, against the host, India. It’s always exciting and difficult at the same time to play India, in front of their crowd. This one was no exception.
Many of you will agree that we have not played our best hockey today. Our collective strength that we’ve shown earlier in the tournament was just not there. That being said, India did what they had to do to win this game. Good luck to them in their semi-final.
On the bright side, and what will help us to fight for the 5th place, is our offensive penalty corner that worked pretty well today again. We’ve also shown good mental strength by coming back from a 2-0 to 3-3 to take India to the shoot-outs. Which we unfortunately lost.
It is true that the deception is there, and the team will make everything that is in their hands to win that 5th place and learn from this tournament. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.
