Good 5-0 win vs. Spain, who’s always a difficult opponent to play against. The objective was to win this match, and that’s what we did. We did not display our best game, even though we kept the clean sheet and scored five. We kept their scoring opportunities to the minimum, which is always good.
After two games we got the maximum of points, and the confidence level is high in the team. It is now time to step up our game and display what we can do in this competition. We know we still have some room for improvement, and we will count on our penalty corner, which has shown to be an important asset to win (big) games.
See you on Tuesday vs. The Netherlands in a replay of the recent European Championship final.
Take care, all.
